Description

Silk is cultivated from the cocoon of the mulberry silkworm larvae. It is lightweight, breathable fabric, known for its surprising strength, elasticity and high absorbency. Silk fibres are smooth and straight, which makes silk fabric smooth to the touch, shiny and luxurious. Modal products are nature-based, made from fibres derived from wood pulp. This material is sustainable as the wood pulp used is responsibly sourced. Modal fabric has a very low environmental footprint - its production uses significantly lesser natural resources than other fibres. This saree combines silk and modal to create a luxurious, silky smooth and lightweight wearing experience.
