Story

The first time shed tasted a jamun, it had been described to her as a black plum. But, somehow, that name didnt do it justice. The juicy fruit with its tell-tale violet stain deserved an identity of its own, she thought. And so, when on a hike, she discovered a jamun tree in the wild and learnt what it was locally called, it all made sense. The jamun wasnt shy or reticent; it would leave its mark on all those it encountered and have them hankering for more. She was like the junglee jamun “ wild, memorable and truly remarkable.

Make an impression and stand out, when you wear this ravishing violet and green saree, made of cotton and acrylic and embellished with zari

Description

One of the most popular natural fibres in the world, cotton is hailed for its beauty, comfort, durability and versatility. Cotton is naturally sustainable and its cultivation supports local farmers and communities. A low maintenance fabric, cotton is also hypoallergenic, making it the perfect choice around the year, especially for the Indian climate. We took this simple, elegant fabric and combined it with acrylic to add sheen, lustre and pizzazz. The inclusion of subtle zari embellishments lends an old-world finesse to the saree, making it the star of every show!
